Printing Methods Explained

My preferred method of prints is DTF. More times than not this is what I will use unless you specify otherwise. 

 

DTF - Direct to Film

  • Digitally printed with white ink
  • High quality 
  • Detailed, full color
  • Soft to touch feel
  • Works on any shirt

 



Sublimation

  • Process of dying ink into the fabric
  • Full color design
  • Can not feel 
  • Light colors work best, DARK COLORS NEED TO BE BLEACHED
  • Shirt needs to have a high polyester count

 

Screen Print

  • In short, painted on with stencil
  • 1 color, simple design
  • Various colors
  • Absorbed into fabric
  • Works on all shirts


 




Vinyl

  • Sheet Vinyl that is machine cut
  • 1 color, simple design
  • Various colors and patterns of vinyl
  • Sits on top of fabric
  • Can feel stiff
  • Works on all shirts
